In order to prevent the appearance of oxide film, it is better to add Cr, Al to the steel. Alloying elements such as Si form an oxide film on the surface of the steel that is densely structured and firmly bonded to the surface of the steel. This alloy oxide film has a good protective effect, thereby prolonging the service life of the steel or increasing the use temperature. When chromium is used alone to improve the oxidation resistance of the steel under certain standard conditions, the mass fraction of chromium is required to reach 12% when the medium temperature reaches 800 °C, and 12% when it is resistant to oxidation at 950 °C. The mass fraction of chromium is required to be 20%. When the mass fraction of chromium is 28%, it is also resistant to oxidation at 1100 °C. If the above alloying elements are used in combination, greater oxidation resistance can be exerted. In stainless steel, if the oxide film is mainly in the form of Cr203, its ability to rapidly change its oxidation temperature is superior.
